Hail Brother! The war goes well. This month I completely routed the 1BL and killed it's Marshal. My losses were just 19% and his were 46%. He has sent emissaries into Synisvania, but I have flooded the Southern Sands with my own emissaries. It is too bad that his pride got in the way and that he did not side with us. We could have accomplished great things, but now he must see his nation in ruins. I continue to make efforts against the Giants as well in the sourthern part of his region. I have reports that the 1GI is in Synisvania, so please use that information to your advantage. To victory! Eternally your friend and brother, Lothaedus

Good Lothaedus, That is indeed excellent news! The reports from my lands are mixed, but, on the whole, positive. The Tall Ones took back one of their villages in Arcania and captured one of my towns in The Steppes. On the other hand, I influenced another of his villages in Arcania to join my cause, blocked his attack on another of my towns with a magical dome and assassinated one of his barons. Red Mage, The 4DW division is at my village at AU. If you have a spare Dome handy or even want to destroy it, please feel free. I think we are working well together. Would you like to extend our non-aggression pact through the end of spring [T34], summer [T37], or fall [T40], your choice? Finally, do you have any other information on Dwarven groups? Many thanks! You mistake honor for pride. I would much rather have avoidd war with you and had you attacked anyone but my declared ally in Arcania, I would have. That battle did not go well and that was with you forgetting to issue orders to your general! Rangers are fierce in battle, indeed. Lord Diamond

Did not update before but DW is confirmed still hostile in Runimeed. TR was lowered in Runimeed but did not get a hostile message.

Hail Bottlenose, Yes, we seem to be working fine together and soon we will up the pressure on the pesky Dwarf. I will see what I can do about some dome action, but no promises. My armies and wizards are fully engaged in Amberland for the next two turns. The only information that I have is that 1DW is still in Amberland. But not for long if things work out! Since we are already working together towards common goals, I would suggest that we go beyond a NAP to "LP", or Limited Partnership. The only thing that I can see that would prevent that from working for us would be if you had designs to engage my ally the tall one in Arcania during his time of difficulty. I will try to gather more interesting recon information this turn. BTW, I have decided that Dwarves are much stinkier than Gnomes. Who would have thought. Yours, Red

Mighty and Puissant Red Mage, No promises expected on the Dome, it is merely a thought. I confirm our non-aggression pact through the end of fall [T40] with an added limited partnership that would have us work together generally -- and in particular against the hated Dwarves -- although it would be short of a full mutual defense pact. I agree that it would be void if I launch an attack on the Giants (but it would not be void if he attacks me), and would also note it would be void if you launch an attack on the Ancient Ones.
