The Gathering of the Cabal

Post your kingdom selection from those remaining available on the games next forming. 1. "Primeval" are usually 5 or 6 player games for newer players; 2. "Full-Onl" are 12 player games with diplomacy; 3. "Anonymous" has no communication between the players; 4. "Alliance" are games of 12 players on 4 teams of 3 kingdoms each. 5. "Warlords" is for very experienced players where each of 4 players controls 3 kingdoms. Not yet available in 3rd Cycle. 6. "Dual" is a format where 6 players each control 2 kingdoms 7. "Titans" is for experienced Warlords players: 2 players control 6 kingdoms each. Not yet available in 3rd Cycle. We generally anticipate the demand for the next game format or two and post a thread under Alamaze New Game Sign-Up with the specifics.

This is a forum for the Moderators to communicate important "official" news to the Citizens (and Outcasts) of Alamaze. It is for viewing. Please post on other threads, like for each specific game or general discussion threads.

Once positions in a game are confirmed, a thread for that game will begin here. Each thread is intended for the players in the game, but a guest may post.

Throw the gauntlet that you are open to Challenges, and fill your matches when you have a challenger by listing the two personas, the Kingdoms selected and any desired smack. You can form a match off-line, but still post the match here so it can be recorded.

Valhalla is the place where the achievements of players is recognized. It will consist of various lists to show total status points, best finishes by kingdom, and persona honor.

March, 2017 we began the forum "Specific Design Ideas for Maelstrom". Now, a few days short of a year later, we are ready to begin releasing the exciting final and near final design concepts new for Alamaze 4th Cycle: Maelstrom. These will be released gradually over the next few weeks. Discussion is welcome and encouraged, and don't think because a new section is added that previous threads are closed. Post when the mood strikes. Encourage your old rivals on sabbatical to visit the forum and reignite their Alamaze fire. We hope you are as excited as we at the anticipation of a such a bold, new world in the universe of Alamaze.

How do I get off to a reasonable start in Alamaze regardless of my kingdom? Some kingdom specific stuff is fine, but this is more about as a new or returning player, how do I get started now that I am in a game?
