#91
unclemike order 483 set up as standing order but the fool did nothing this turn. Unless it is because of Influnce but there is no mention of max influence in order description.

Check your turn results. I seem to recall I got a warning about the 483 not going forward one turn because I was already at 20. Seems like it was on my turn sheet telling me why the order did not happen.

I'm asking that the discussion on battles and military matters such as recruiting Companion brigades in The Choosing be placed in the new thread specifically for that purpose and of that name.

I'd like to see this thread and the similar one in #502 return to a discussion of all aspects of The Choosing: the feel of the kingdoms, the cultural traits, the special abilities, the new spells, the high priestess model, new orders, kingdom interactions, strategy changes, changes in deciding on orders to issue given the other surrounding changes, impressions on the new interface, customization and ESO selections, and any bug reporting.

(Illusionist)  Had the regional intel a couple turns back about both the Nomads and Tyrant wandering armies or army groups into Arcania.  Sort of got my attention.  Did take Arcania a turn or so ago and at turn 6 all 10 regions are controlled by the non-dispersed kingdoms.  The dispersed kingdoms haven't shared a lot on what is going on with them.  So the Illusionist has two (the max) declared enemies at turn 6.

The questions remain each turn about which orders to issue.  An Illusionist with 20+ influence seems to be a formidable foe, in my early opinion.  Meanwhile, it is hard to battle off two kingdoms, raise wizards, and keep that secondary objective of using my covert talents.  Minotaurs have been an early summoning objective.

We are though tun 8 as of now.  Have encountered no bugs.  Really like the look and feel of the interface.

2 things.

First, thanks to IL for enemy declaration, but my army was just passing through. You will see I took Runnimede.

Second, I cannot find the 726 (portal movement) order on any of the tabs. Help?

Was hoping for some clarification in 3C on the Secretive Trait. Will an Eagle Familiar spell, Palantir, and/or a Scrying Mirror find a hidden capital?

Good catch about the missing 726. Will add that to the new website soon.

Agent has to be 4th level or higher to detect a hidden pc.

  Raven Familiar won't
  Palantir/Crystal of Seeing/Scrying Mirror won't
  Eagle Familiar won't
Dire Wolf can - L4 agent
True Seeing spell can - L99 agent (max level possible)

BTW, whenever someone has a chance, cast True Seeing on an area with an invisible group. You should get a full recon of the group and everything else in that area. The True Seeing spell is the only manner possible of getting a recon of an invisible group (instead of just a notice that an invisible group exists) and I would like to have it tested in either Beta game if possible.

What about Advanced Recon? And 976, while we're at it?

By the way, I reconned a square in 502 with a Crystal of Seeing, and although I didn't see the hidden pop center, I did see all of the Kingdom's emissaries, including the King.

Just FYI, in case that's not working as intended.

I will say that it will be really hard to find a Hidden capital, if 877 (and potentially 979) won't do the trick.

That does seem like a loop hole for crystal of seeing.

If someone has true seeing or invisible I would be happy to help test true seeing vs an invis group. I can cast either my groups are mostly located in the eastern side of Northern mists.
