Sea or Land Space ?
#1
Imagining that this is a question asked before, and apologies to those of you who find it tedious.

Is there a resource somewhere that shows whether a square is a sea square or a land square? I'd rather eyeball a chart and be sure.

I have screwed up a movement order n the new map be because I thought a sea space was land. I don't have chart.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Ask a friend in the forum via PM. It's what I do when I need game clarifications but don't want to tip off the other players by posting in public.

I recommend asking Ry Vor. After all, he drew the map :-)

The resurgent map terrain info is under Rules and Resources -> Maps or use this link: http://kingdomsofarcania.net/forum/attac...hp?aid=125

unclemike beat me to it. I downloaded this file and keep it with my other rules materials. Most cases are exactly what you might guess. Note, however, the secret desert in R3. I'm not sure how many examples there are like that - I've not encountered any others, but there could be more.

For Amberland it is that volcano that is off a square. Even worse registers as an US only to explore and find out you found the real volcano

Somebody should make a list of the "tricky" squares to warn new players about.
