Service Level Pricing to Change March1
#1
More to come on specifics. Just giving notice, there will be some price changes starting March 1. Nothing anyone thinks is dramatic. Scout will likely stay where is, for example.

Doom! Dooooom!! Doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!!!! j/k I can afford a few more dollars if needed. The last time I complained about fees the RA prison raped my DE army in 119. I thought that was uncalled for on your part....

I am finding the 3 turns every two weeks a bit much. I also think it contributes to game burn out much faster. Would their be a pricing option for players that only want to play 1 week games?

We tried a couple one week games (107 for one), and we have lost a couple players that thought the 3 in 2 was too fast. Mainly though, we have had Warlords and Titan players wanting to move from 1 a week to 3 in 2 or even 4 in 2. We haven't had another request for a slower game (other than this) in quite some time.

No new service levels for 1 a week, but feel free to start a thread for a 1 a week game Lord Brogan and we can certainly accommodate that game.

I found it difficult to stay engaged in the once a werk game. Even this 3 in 2 isn't enough. I prefer two turns a week.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

I'm with Diamond, but right now my schedule is nuts so 3:2 is about what I can handle. The 1 week game (107) was rough to keep involved in.

Well since we are chiming on preferences. The 3:2 is my preference for normal games. However I find that 2 day turn around would be sufficient for the single kingdom anonymous games.

With no one to coordinate with, I normally have them done the night I get it.
I did learn one thing from my "mentor".

Maybe that's a format that could be tried to see what players think. 12 player anonymous game, turns run MWF. Thoughts?

I think that would be a really tough (prohibitive, even) schedule for Rick and Cipher, although perhaps it would be doable if the game had an increased slot and/or setup fee.

I like it. Make it every other day but processed last in case work load is to high front regular running games. I would also like it to be the only victory condition is 3 regions for 2 consecutive turns, no SVC.
