Anyone else notice that the color looks faded on our turn printouts? I noticed a difference in game 101's T13 to T14+, game 103's T9 to T10+, and game 106 T0. The printout looks faded compared to earlier which had richer color and sharper fonts.
Since we're on the subject of turn printouts, does anyone have an opinion on the entire text being italicized? Now I'm not an editor like Cargus10 (Editor from Flagship Magazine) but regardless of the writing style chosen (e.g., Chicago style or other), isn't it taboo to overuse italics, bold, and such in text?

Heh - you flatter me too much. I was the US Editor mostly because no one else wanted it, not because I was a professional writer or anything (I've doe a wee bit of technical writing when I was doing engineering stuff, but mostly I was used as a troubleshooter for software/hardware interactions in datacom and telecom)
That being said, yes, the italics are overused. Worse, to my mind, is the fact that a lot of the text blocks associated with battles or unusual sighting investigations needs to be edited. There are lots of cases of missing words, subject-verb tense disagreement, etc. that could be fixed to make the results a bit less jarring.

Oh, that'll bring some hate!
Never have understood why so many people hate comic sans so very much, but man, do they. I agree it isn't a very good font, but the sheer amounts of vitriol spewed by the detractors is amazing.
I would be EXTREMELY interested in suggestions for fonts.
The font has to be non-proportional spacing - same width for all the characters in the font.
During playtest I went through 20+ and settled on the current Cousine.
Italics are there just because it seems to take some of the edge off the blockiness of the non-proportional fonts.
ALSO - please send your grammatical suggestions to the support@alamaze.co mailbox and I will try to improve the descriptors.

There were a couple of changes around that time, a new routine to handle emailing the turns, and the processing has been moved to a different server, but the graphic overlays and the mechanism to produce the results haven't changed. This is a big improvement for time to process turns and expanding the field of potential GMs.
I'll spend some time investigating, but there may not be many options.

What are you using to generate the PDF file? Maybe an option was changed by accident that reduced color resolution when the switch was made to the new email routine.
Kinda would like to see a non-italics example of a turn if it's not too much trouble. Is it possible to post up a sample turn of each style and take a poll which looks best? The setup file that comes with turn 0 is not italicized and it looks ok. Just a suggestion

I noticed the washed-out colour as well, but it's a very minor thing.
As for font, I vote we switch to Sherwood.
