Geez, 3 hours from the due date, err due time and the results are going out. I'm pretty sure this Alamaze Classic has run better to schedule than any Alamaze games in the past 10 years.

FYI, I think I posted this somewhere, but I've set a 12 hour turn around goal for processing turns. That is, turns due at 10pm should be in the player's hands no later than 10am the following morning. 2pm due times should be out by 2am the following morning.

I'm happy to have handily beaten the goal for all turns to date!

Cipher

enjoy the turn results!

You are doing great Cipher. The vast impatience we feel is a reflection of how much fun we are having, not your performance. We are all very greatful to have you.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

The worst was BITD and people got turns in (the mail) and you wait and finally mail comes and no turn. So the next day you knew it must be coming and still no turn...

Check it out. I was stationed in Japan in the early 90's and playing with RSI. I would have one day to get my turns back in the mail to make the deadline. Otherwise I had to pay crazy money to call them in.

Mail would be delivered to the post office at all hours of the day, whenever a plane would come in. I remember checking mail four times one day, in a blizzard, and having a turn each time I went. I was obsessed with checking my mail after that.
