Bridge, racquetball, tennis, volleyball (in case anyone did not know what vball stood for) - all of my retirement activities on hold until at least mid-May.
All that is left is Alamaze, World of Warcraft and binge-watching 11 seasons of Cheers for nostalgia.
So torn on this. I mean it is just a flu, but it seems really bad.
Stay safe everyone, unless you are on my map....

Even worse, the panic and paranoia have forced the cancellation of the Little Wars wargaming convention. Alas.

The supermarket chain where we shop announced special hours for seniors over 60.  The are opening from 6- 7:30 am for the safety and convenience of seniors.
Last night wifey says we will take advantage and leave at 6 am so today I get up an hour early.   As I am having my coffee and checking the overnight email I here my lovely wife of 45 years say OH SHIT from the next room.  It seems the new early senior hours don't start until tomorrow so I got up early for nothing.
It could be  worse.  I went for a colonoscopy one time and there was an old fellow there who was prepped and ready to go and he was a week early.
It can always be worse.  My new motto.

I’m in DC this week, no traffic almost everything is closed. I thought I was in an episode of TWD. “And the sheep shall follow”

I'm lucky, I have a job that allows me to work from home. No 90 minute commute, each way. A new grandson born 2 days ago, our first. The world welcomes gkmetty the fifth.

Is Vball required to change his name to cheerswatcher now that vball is not available?

Probably should.

Congratulations on the grandson gramps.  They are so much more fun than our children were.  I love my child but should have started with the grandkids.

First case just hit my city in Ohio. If we get quarantined i expect to start up alot of 24 hour games here. Seems the only one that may benefit from this bug is Ry Vor....eerie silence and an accusatory glare his way.

Got told today, because of my flight to and from Vegas, and my DC trip, I will be quarantined from work for 2-3 weeks upon my return Friday?  Crazy
