This Primeval game is for players who have not won a Primeval game.
We'll use the format we used in the Primeval Championship: The Redhaired Stepchildren.

This game is a good opportunity for returning players to get re familiarized and for players looking for a chance for their first win.
Primeval is a fun format with a lot more space and a chance to get to know the kingdom a bit before heavy battling (usually).

The Horn Has Sounded, My Liege! We Must To Arms!
A reminder that this game has open positions right now and is specifically for players who have not won a Primeval game. It is an ideal choice for most players then to get a chance at getting that gold, and for new players who have gone through a Duel and are ready to get going in a real game of Alamaze.
Primeval is played on the same Resurgent map as would normally have 12 players, but with only 5 players. So a mistake is not as critical, and exploring without a multi-turn plan is fine.
Heck, The Gray Mouser hasn't won a Primeval game and he may take a spot if this doesn't fill soon. So far we have these open positions - all fun to play and not commonly played in 12 player games in The Choosing (hence they are in The Battle of the Red Haired Stepchildren):
The Cimmerians. Be The Barbarian. You have lots of special traits, a very good military, can adventure, sail, and ultimately, dominate. But you have to pick up that sword made with The Secret of Steel.
The Amazons. The only female-led race so far in Alamaze. And since they were introduced to a skeptical market in this format, they have become a popular choice. They are hurt a little in The Choosing format because players don't pass on the wizard kingdoms. But in this format they have had the most wins.
The Nomads. One of my personal favorites and vastly underrated in 10 and 12 player games, they also did well in The Primeval Championship.
So give one of them a roll if you have not won gold as of yet.
