Need volunteers to test the new 3rd Cycle website (Oct 31 tentative start):

Since Chrome was indicated as the player's preference, I used that browser as my primary development platform. Opera is close in presenting the forms correctly but Firefox and Safari truncate some fields (like the error message box). Please don't use Internet Explorer since it has more than just cosmetic problems with it. Eventually, I'll get around to correcting these cross-browser issues but not for this initial test.
For this trial, I'm looking for player feedback in ease of use when playing a game. Just keep in mind that even though this new site is a great improvement over our current order entry process, it is only temporary until it is replaced with a fully interactive map in 2016 so I'm not expecting to make any further changes to it.
So if you're good with all of that then sign up and choose your kingdom preference below. This is a free game since its purpose is to verify the feasibility of the new website (and prevent overloading me when the 3rd Cycle Beta starts). The sample game will be using the 3rd Cycle (Aug '15) version of the program but I'll be updating the software as the test progresses so expect changes along the way.
I'm reserving slots for Ry Vor, Lord Diamond, and Frost Lord since they know the most about Fall of Rome's GUI plus two guests that I'm hoping will join which leaves 7 open slots. But don't sign up if you like to drop out because I need test cases to review every turn and dropping out doesn't help me in that regard.

Zone 1: High Elves or Druid
Zone 2: Cimmerians or Necromancer
Zone 3: Dwarves or Warlock
Zone 4: Sorcerer or Amazon
Zone 5: Black Dragon or Sacred Order
Zone 6: Demon Princes or Atlantians
Zone 7: Gnomes or Halflings
Zone 8: Ranger or Illusionist
Zone 9: Lizard Men or Dark Elves
Zone 10: Nomads or Ancient Ones
Dispersed: Underworld or Pirate
Dispersed: Red Dragon or Tyrant
12 kingdoms total. The Necromancer and Illusionist will be lacking their special kingdom abilities at the start of the game but I'll be adding them as the test progresses. Attached are some of my notes about the changes for 3rd Cycle that you may want to look over before joining.

BTW, name changes for turn 1 will be handled differently for 3rd Cycle games (not available for this test game). The new procedure is still under development but when finished, if you wish to change the names for any/all of your emissaries, agents, groups, leaders/wizards, ...etc., you should indicate such when you initially sign up for a game. Ry Vor will include the additional fee on your invoice then once paid, he will use the Alamaze Utility program on the server to register your account that will allow you to change your names. The server program will also email you a randomly generated security code (only valid for that particular game) that you will need to login to another site (TBD) in order to make your changes. More info on all of this later but it won't be available for this test game. Eventually billing will be automated (late 2016?) which will make all of this smoother for everyone.

- 4-4-6 (Monday, Friday, Tuesday)
- M-W-F
- W-Sat
- Weekly (once a week, any day of the week)
