New Standing Orders

With the changes, the 54 ctr esp. does not seem to work.  My agent says “awaiting further orders” on the turn report, and I had an emmy kidnapped in an area that was being ctr esp., but the report did not state that ,”despite being guarded”…. 

What gives?

Having game number, kingdom, turn helps to investigate but I went ahead and rearranged the processing of standing orders in the code so there won't be an issue like this again. Thanks for finding it.

Yes, I saw it too. 54 comes before 60, so it didn't work for me.

5583 Turn 16 Sorceror. It's working for me now.

I think Mike moved the actual execution place of Order 60 to before the 50 series.

I tried to hire an agent and put him on ctr esp just now. It says agent is not available. So is the intent of the new orders to eliminate the ability to hire and use an agent on orders below the 510? If so I will adjust it.
Also how does the 54 affect the UN early kidnap? Assuming it helps defend against the early kidnap.

Rick would be better at explaining the design decisions of the latest update and their implications with other orders but I believe the intent of moving the counter-espionage action earlier was to simplify things.

But that also means that the new hire order (#510) won't be as useful as it was in the past in that the new figure has to exist prior to being issued the new counter-espionage that occurs earlier in the turn.

Order execution is still preserved so the early counter-espionage helps against the Underworld's early kidnap for that turn.

I think this pretty clearly nerfs the UN.
