I think young Strylian posted before asking about the availability of Halflings in Alamaze, so sort of foreshadowing.
However, Strylian, if Alamaze Champion Draugr had claimed them first, that would be viewed kind of as a gauntlet thrown at his unworthy opponents.
As per an earlier question on Silent format, some kingdoms do not do as well in this no communication format, and that would include the Halfling as well as other kingdoms who have Trick of the Trade as a trait, which you can't use in Silent.
The Halflings have been improved in recognition of the hesitation in The Choosing, but still in a first game with last choice of regions, I would suggest a mulligan and ask you to consider an easier to handle kingdom like the Dwarves, Elves, Rangers.
If you read this, you can go in and change your pick to any kingdom not yet selected when you make your post.

Looks like someone already created the game.
Once you have your region and kingdom, go there from the order entry site (left panel, Game Queue) and join the game. Just be careful to select what you posted.

I love the Dark Elf. Good Magic, Excellent forces with Archers and good spies. Very well balanced and flexible. I may be new as well, but so far they are my favorite Kingdom. I mean, they are horrible, don't take the Dark Elves, no one should take the Dark Elves, You should make one of the last two people choosing take such a terrible kingdom............................

Yes, they were very strong in The Choosing, and even losing a couple traits they are a solid choice (like Elves, but with darker traits) in Maelstrom.
