Game 5105 - Forum communication
#1
Hail DE, DA here,  I see you have moved into the city at OV while I pursued my region.   I understand why you might move to a Human controlled city and I hold no ill will towards you. I claim the city as part of my region and will move a group there this coming turn.  I give you warning so that you can move your valuable princes away.  If they remain at the city, I will take the pop center militarily and kill any emmies that I capture.

Great Druid.
From the previous post, I see you are poaching Encounters in Torvale as well as the N Mists. Leave mine alone, or their will be problems!

This was an ice age game and it was slow moving and tough.
Thank you Drogo for an exciting back and forth chess match. This might be the most fun I have ever had in a game. I had to hurry and take my 4th region, the IL was on a roll, congratulations to Draugr on second place. Ohman almost won that one, then the DA started to move for the win, then the IL was heading for the win along with me. Great game everyone.

Congrats Rellgar,

I played the DA position and found it very enjoyable. For those experienced players looking for a different twist to the game, I suggest an Ice Age game. This format might be a little too much for newer players.

As for this specific game, I found my position under constant attack starting on turn 3. The DE had not even secured his own region but decided to invade Synisvania. It took several turns to convince the DE that his best interests were in another game but before that happened the DW decided the DA were a prime target. That confrontation ended when the NE moved into the Talking Mountains while the DW engaged in the Eastern Steppes .

The DW decided it was too much and left the game but the NE now with 3 regions moved into the Steppes. It took several turns but the NE did finally take the Steppes from me. Unfortunately for him while he was focused on the east part of the board he lost ground in the middle of the board. On the same turn the NE took the Steppes and declared victory he lost Amberland. Then the RD arrived in the Steppes and had at least one, likely more, major battles with the NE army's. This allowed me to make up some ground. While I did not get the Steppes back I did take the Talking Mountains from the NE.

In the end the DA held Synisvania and the Mountains but the Mountains were contested by the NE and the IL was invading Synisvania.

Congrats to Rellgar on the win and to everyone who finished the game. As I mentioned above the game was very enjoyable and Ice age presents new challenges to a game we all love.
