Can someone explain the 'claiming' of regions? I've never done something like this. Are there rules or is a gentleman's agreement? What does it mean in practice? We have to surrender all PC's outside our 'claimed' regions? When can we strike outside?

When all is settled, the responsible party send all the details to signup@alamaze.co. House rules, chivalry minimum ready time, any special rules, of course the personas and positions, possibly victory conditions otherwise standard.
Just let me know when all have gone through the cut throat phase and all settled. if you can do that tonight, we can likely create the game tomorrow morning!
Oh, and all let me know if you want to pay $40 all-in and preserve the slot, or pay $10 setup (except newly returning players who have this game free either way) and consume a slot.

Drogo, it is a gentlemans agreement with Primeval games since we start with only 5 players this allows us to expand to 2 regions each in relative peace usually till turn 10 or so. It is non binding but it saves from early war that almost always just assists the other 3 in winning the game. Aggressors are sometimes ganged up on and combatants are usually swarmed after early war breaks out, same as any game just helps us all to get going on ESO and plot a mid game strat. Like i said it is non binding. If you want to start a war early thats your decision. You surrender no PC's.
I will pay the $10 and use my open slot.

I am okay with Forum diplomacy. I will use a slot for this game. I would suggest either 3 or 4 days for the maximum time between turns.
