#31
I will be happy to play the Dwarves to get this game going but I don't want to take the opportunity away from a newer player.

Our Elf player dropped. West side is getting beat pretty bad, but hell, things are just starting to heat up.
Can we pause this game while we get a sub?
I for one would like to continue. I know we are losing pretty bad but id like go some more turns. Would like to see the hurt my opponents have planned for me.

Rytek part of the issue in this is that the Elf dropped. Once he drops I am not sure UM can reset anything as the kingdom disappears and all PCs turn to Human control. The GN position seems to be doing extremely well based on what I see and from the discussions of our team we wont declare victory this turn but I believe the game is ending on turn 11.

Its frustrating to see a kingdom drop as it impacts the team and if someone wants to drop they should reach out and have the position filled by a standby.

Either way we are willing to continue as long as you wish but it is quickly moving towards a Western Victory.

Sometimes thing happen to make players drop but I do find it very rude to not at least inform your teammates that you need to stop playing. Even if you do not have time to look for someone to take your place it really takes less than 10 seconds to send an email you will not longer be playing. That would be enough to allow support to turn a position over to another player before perhaps a turn is even missed.

The philosophy is a dichotomy:  don't join a solo game if you intend to work with someone before the game starts, and two, don't drop in a team game.  I don't know quite how to fix that but I think this was a new player game.  Virtually no established player drops early unless there was a family crisis.

I think players would enjoy Alliance games more than they might think: just join with two old rivals or old friends.  You only communicate with your allies.

Next game will likely be Alliance (after the current games forming).

I could sub in and finish out the game if that is plausible, depending if all parties would like a sub to finish out the game
