Should not be already applied. Yes, the capitals generally start with higher defense, but this does not include the 25%. When I move my capital, that town defense stays the same. Likewise, if I move capital to a new town, the standard defense will not go up 25% on the base.

It's not a good idea to add the capital bonus for pc defense. That factor only applies if an invading army actually attacks the pc, not if laying siege, parleying, diplomacizing, or wizard destroy pc actions. So something like the capital bonus won't be included (or other factors) if they are not appropriate.

I actually prefer the previous version which didn't display the additional column in order to avoid such issues of players questioning whether the pc defense, food, gold, or other stat is being properly adjusted (which they are at the appropriate time).

Another area that the kingdom report may be misleading are combat values by phase. There are a ton of factors (and I mean a lot) that affect those numbers so only take them as ballpark figures.

This does not address why my village in the water does not seem to have a bonus applied. Maybe a glitch. I know there is another discussion thread talking about the map.

I thought I remember reading water bonus only applies to movement but I can not find it.  But also defense should be different I would think because having mastery you would know how to best set your PC to be defendable vs would be attackers

Check the Help Guides for map and terrain definitions. Area PR is a plains, not water location, so your village doesn't deserve a pc defensive bonus.

Riders traits and movement points.

Has anyone had issues with Nomads and movement points.

Are division sized groups supposed to have 22 or 20 points?

The rules say groups with brigades get 22 points.   Should it be rewritten to say brigade sized groups?

Yes I believe it does mean brigade sized groups and patrols get even more.

Riders: Patrols get 32 movement points.  Cavalry values for these kingdoms are higher.  +1 to emissary and agent range.  Groups with brigades get +2 movement points, so 22 for normal movement and 27 for forced march.  Intercept range is +1 (so with kingdom base 3, Riders get 4 for intercept range).  Riders have access to the Flank tactic, but kingdoms with the Riders trait (or Flight) cannot be flanked in battle.

So Patrols get 32 movement points and larger groups get 22.

Sounds like a good thing to check if it is actually coded that way.
