I propose that we each recover the pcs (except VA, of course) in Runnimede which we owned on the turn I took control of Runnimede (and eliminated the GN). Furthermore, we each promise peace to each other for the remainder of the contest (diplomatic, military, covert, High Council actions, information sharing, etc... - other than reasserting control of pcs in Runnimede). I will also reset the standing order to send you 3,000 gold every turn. Peace will preserve for you the few remaining pcs you own outside of Runnimede, as I will immediately cease hostilities. What say you?
OOC: You were incredibly misled into believing it was a viable/equitable negotiating tactic to ask for control of a region because I owned two and you owned none. You were misled by a player who - as we all do - wants victory for himself. You have played this contest exceptionally well.

Although I'm willing to relent, I'm not quite willing to relent that much. If your peace is conditional on the Reds (your requirement, not mine), then we are still technically in a state of conflict. So although with the prospect of peace on the horizon, I would prefer to avoid any irrevocable losses, I must continue toward my non-negotiable goal of Control over the region.
Again, I would gladly rebalance in the near future to accomplish our peace agreement if that comes to pass, but for now I am not willing to forego political action.
On the bright side, political actions won't affect this month's production, and trading is relatively easy.
Just let me know if you're amenable to my proposal as clarified. If I don't hear back from you, I will assume all bets are off this month and that military and magical and covert conflict may indeed occur.

It seems as though you were doing quite well against him, until the Warlock intervened, and if the Warlock were to pull off, I have complete confidence that even as a new ruler, you would be able to defeat him.
Of course I am interested in victory, but that does not mean I am pursuing it at your expense. Quite the contrary, as you already know.

Confirmed. We will siege only and not attack you covertly, militarily, or magically, in return for the same understanding. And we will not bring additional groups or troops to bear at your capital or my city, again, in return for the same understanding.
Finally, it sounds like we should declare each other neutral this month in hopes for a prisoner exchange next month.
My hope is that this will mark an era of new and far better relations between us!

I have received this news in a distant location [i.e. on my mobile] and am not sure I will be able to get to my writing desk and seal [i.e. my laptop] to send dispatches to my King in time to change certain orders, but if we can, we will prioritize ordering our groups NOT to siege, our navy NOT to sea patrol, and our groups to depart your capital and my city. No offense will be taken if you are unable to reciprocate, of course, due to the lateness of the hour.

I was surprised to note earlier this month that we had not yet declared you a formal Ally of our Kingdom, although all know of our long friendship.
