Will keep fighting until my month subscription runs out but without help or WA bothering even speaking to me I won't last more than a few turns anyways. It was fun for awhile but some people are just too intense and others don't seem to want to talk...

I'm confused, you have HH supporting you financially and politically getting you out of most of the hot water you dipped your toes into, but it seems there is only so much political capital he has. You picked a fight with the BL and told him, yeah buddy good job hammering the gnome, now i want the spoils of your hard earned conquest. All this to someone that appears to have had a standing order to send you funds and support your activities. Do you not see how this wouldn't sit well with them? You bluffed the BL and he called it. Accept the corner you painted yourself into without the sour grapes and take my ball and go home attitude. Rather than blame this on an old boys network.

OOC: You're obviously free to say what you want, but I honestly don't think that's a particularly constructive comment as it pertains to the goal of attracting and retaining players. Remember, there were no complaints at all when UN was fighting BL alone, it was the surprise addition of WA with no communication that really seems to have tipped the scales. Just my $0.02.

OOC: More than fair HH. Its the old boys network comment that rubs me the wrong way, especially when currying favor of the Godfather. Anyways I will leave these comments for dead and head back to the peanut gallery

OOC: Hey, any new player is welcome to curry my favor... JF and I usually try to do our level best to help out everyone who's new! Smile

And just remember how it felt to play the leveled-up DU, and then imagine how disconcerting it would be to be on the receiving end of a bunch of Destroy spells, Invisibility spells, Summon Demon, and the like, in your very first game, no less. I think I can totally get it.

OOC: If you remember you left me in that situation with the CI vs the WA.

Caridaz The village of Caridaz (Area BK) was completely engulfed in magical fires
by a wizard's dark magic. It has been completely destroyed!
Safeport Just before dawn, the people of Safeport (Area AI) were dismayed as major
portions of the town fortifications were abruptly demolished by powerful
magic.

OOC: Oh yeah. So how did that feel? Smile And hey, it was a free playtest game, right? Smile

I killed one p3, couldn't find his p5(after many failed attempts), killed all his agents a couple of dukes. The rest of his groups moved to region 1 or I would have whacked those wizards that caused the destruction. SO showed up, killed his p6, he came back I got a P6 and lich P7. Took his capital. He was left with a village in region 1 with a duke(regent) as his only member of the court if my recons are accurate.

Agents have a way of helping wizard kingdoms play nice.

OOC: Not saying you can't win, although there are counters available to what you did, too.

I'm asking how it FELT. Even volunteering to take on a standby and going in with eyes open that it wasn't an optimal position, in a free game with zero pressure, it was a bit rough, wasn't it?

Oh the first few turns with sucked. I can't say I enjoyed the position I started in. But the end was satisfactory

RA - > UN

Master Yoda,
We agree that your offer is mutually beneficial and accept assuming of course that no mistreatment occurs to our Queen.

RA -> DW

Lord Grundun,
We also agree to your terms.  One point of clarification, while we are both free to maneuver our emmys, I'm assuming that no Incite or Usurp orders will be given by either of us this month in Synisvania regarding DW/RA properties; in other words, no current Synisvanian PCs will change ownership unless we mutually agree to a deal from here on out.  I will change your status to Neutral this day if that is agreed.
