Damn it - both you and the Ancient Ones are really going to make me do math, aren't you? I'll give you an accounting as soon as I am able. I would note that I did not intend to agree to provide credit for a Conjure Prestige spell that failed to work - especially considering that I have no way of independently verifying that the failed spell was actually attempted. It's not that I necessarily think you would lie (you aren't me), but trusting someone upsets my digestion something fierce. Perhaps we should forgo further attempts for now.

If you check the correspondence, you will actually see that we did agree to a cost "per casting" and not per successful casting. Given that a Power-6 Wizard could generate 12,000 gold minimum, it would not make sense to set the price any lower than that, and since I assume influence in excess of the normal maximum for a King's order does have some value to you, that is why we have been debating between 15,000 and 20,000 per casting.
As for honesty, for a naturally suspicious one such as yourself, I will be happy to make a special offer to you so that you can verify my claims after peace falls upon the land once more. Does that sound fair?

Mighty King Oban. Me tell troll troops to take Viperhead but too many of them scared of magic fire. I kill some to try and make them fear me more, but they not want to get on boats to go fight mage. Send ravens to Elf and Black Dragon and invite them to the roast. This now big war so nobody can say we gang up on dark one.

We did not capture his slippery agent. We Domed KF and can report the TR capital has moved but do not know the new location.
On the regional reaction front the TR and EL are confirmed Hostile and the DW was lowered one level. I know the EL is not our enemy but just being careful.
2TR army group is at my village SE. I will dome this turn. But wanted to warn you as he could be heading south.
1TR army is on my reaction reports but I do not know the location.
I will plan to take the town this turn and move to a village. Any preference please let me know from my groups location.

I hope you fare well in your undertakings. It turns out the Warlock and Giant continue to be most treacherous. They continue to sap my resources and harass me with their sorcerous powers and assassinations. My people are demanding that in one way or another we stop their evil ways. Let us join forces and crush this evil before it goes any further. I propose that you take what you can from the Giant from row "R" and above and I target row "S" and below.
To this noble cause, I have asked for aid from my other blood brother, the Gnomes. I hope that they are not too bogged down in their battle with fiendish trolls that they might be able to offer some assistance. I have also beseeched the mighty Black Dragon to our cause as he knows I am his loyal ally. I fear that if he joins the evil Warlock and Giant, then all of the east will be bogged down in war that ends up going nowhere and ultimately serves to be all our dooms. Of all the cultures in this realm, perhaps that of yours and mine are most in alignment. I ask that you now break from your solitude and join me in eradicating this land of the evil that infects the middle of the continent.
Please, make haste and join the conflict before it is too late. As I'm sure you may be aware of, there is a portal that links our two great realms. If you could send a glorious Elven host south to engage the Giants, the glorious stores or your exploits would be told for all time. Meanwhile, your emissaries are likely within reach of the Warlock and Giant holdings (you would of course want to coordinate with Dwarves as to which PC's to target of the WA and the DA to coordinate which PC's of the GI to target).
