We encourage our new or about-to-become new, players to consider this game. It's a five player, five kingdom game. It's sort of our introductory game, although it can be played at a high level by experienced players as well.
This game has four positions restricted to players who have played in no more than 3 Alamaze games since our return in 2013 for the four corner positions:
High Elves of the Golden Woods
The Dwarven Lords of the Talking Mountains
The Dark Skies of the Black Dragons
The Great Gnomish Bastions of Alchemy
Those are on a first come, first served basis, by posting here on this thread. Of course, you must be an Alamaze player, registered through the website (www.alamaze.co). So you post something like, "I claim the Black Dragons!" and they are reserved for you.
If you haven't signed up for the forum yet, please use your Alamaze persona name for your forum handle, otherwise it can be confusing.
The fifth position is The Red Warlock, and is reserved for a specially selected Mentor. He or she will be an experienced player, recognized by his peers for teaching the game. The Red Warlock can only win if the game goes its full 24 turn length. He is allied with all kingdoms. All 4 other kingdoms can win if they gain control of 4 regions.
