Vortex: a Five Kingdom 12 Turn Variant
#1
I've been tinkering with a concept for a fast, smaller scope game that could also be suited to private games and challenges. Some of the ideas are:

* Five players
* New map(s), likely 13x13
* Either 3 or 4 regions
* 12 turns, winner based on status points or control of 2 regions
* Under current service levels, would count as 0.5 slots
* New scenarios introduced regularly on new maps with different kingdoms in play.
* Agent range and emissary relocate likely 6.
* Likely two turns per week with Monday and Friday processing.
* No ESO or SVP
* Have its own Valhalla page.

There is no timetable for this, haven't had any discussions with Cipher on the amount of work involved, but what do you think?

The idea is solid, however I would not play this type of game.
I did learn one thing from my "mentor".

I think it sounds fun. I would give it a try. I am also looking forward to the new map for the classic game.
