The 2013 Alamaze Classic Championship!

Here we assemble. Here we stand with respect before the 15 First Selected to represent all kingdoms of Alamaze in the 2013 Alamaze Championship. There now shall begin a contest to test their skills, with certain restrictions on early diplomatic relations. This all intended to provide the most fair contest of individual skill. All here know, dishonor by early submission (retiring without elimination) results in Outcast. All are committed for their best efforts.

I am hoping all Citizens of Alamze, not just contestants, will post freely here, and often! This should not be a thread of an in-progress game, but a reflection, tidbits, projections on the personas so involved in such an Immortal Contest, as the winner surely will be remembered through time.

Who do you champion? What kingdoms do you admire. Post any related subject for this contest, as you will.

So, proclaim your selections for glory, lament those you think may fall short, say what pitfalls await. And, by the way, where is Dusi?

Lord Thantos is slated to be King of the Dwarves

Hile Troy commands the Dark Skies of the Black Dragons

Hawk, deemed most ancient, is 1st Consul of the Ancient Ones

DuPont (he was just here a minute ago) is the Hidden Sorcerer

BlueFile2 would consider nothing other than leading the Dark Elven Imperium

Please remember the few special rules for this game:

SPECIAL RULES:
This Championship game, no allies may be declared prior to turn 7, and from turn 7 on, a kingdom may have only one ally. A kingdom may declare an ally neutral in order to replace its one ally. A kingdom may declare no more than 3 enemies, including natural enemies, as enemies now increase status points.

Any trade between non-allied players can be no greater than 2 to 1. No trade among allies can be greater than 5 to 1. No artifact can be traded for less than 10,000 gold.

If there is no victor prior to turn 36, the leader in status points after turn 36 will be declared Champion via The Lion's Share.

Food for gold, gold for food, either way is fine within the allowed ratios.
