The Cimmerian speak not? Is it fear, self-assuredness, or have they forgotten how to form words and simply bark like dogs. They ask for no NAPS and make no deals, where else do there master the Demon Prince have emissaries hidden? Look inward other kingdoms or some of your Dukes and Counts will be found sleeping instead of ruling.

If any of you can offer a Dome of protection, I can send you gold in one moon, we do not fear the attack next turn, but think it would be dark humor to watch the dog walk into a wall.

II Dome for 15k gold traded for 1 food next turn.

His most Gracious Barbarian King Conan would offer a Nap but his men are not very tired as they have not as yet had a real fight. His men walk freely through the realms of his enemies. His enemies armies run from him in their own realms. Dare they call themselves the protectors of their realms and soon he will be adding the daughters of the King of the Dark Elves to his Harem.

His Majesty would like to pass this message onto the King of The Dark Elves. Fear not for you do not lose your daughters but gain a powerful son and a protector to your people.

I wanted to extend a warm welcome to the Lady of the Plains to our town. Let us know if we should be rolling out the red carpet and good drinks or if we should be hiding our menfolk. I'd prefer the former, but I know preferences are just that. If it makes a difference, that's a former Tyrant town and we have had mixed luck with teaching them to bathe. We're in the process of bringing those fair citizens, as well as the rest of the Untamed Lands (aptly named if you knew their grooming habits) under Rangerly influence. I must admit a bit of jealousy towards you, fair Lady, for being the only kingdom laying claim to two regions.

How is everyone else? I see the Drow are angry with just about everyone and that the Not-Dark Elf is making sure the Halfling is well fed (though hopefully not sleepy afterwards).

Peace, love, and hugs to all.

Lord Ranger,

Those little people would surprise you.  The amount of ale and mutton they are able to consume makes me believe they are innately magical and have a natural ability to make these things just disappear.  If an Elf were to try and match their voracity at a banquet, we might find a new race of Ogre/Elves.  Who knows, Grace of the Elves in the body of an Ogre...... It has some appeal, but the thought of living a life in tune with nature while destroying that very nature with a simple stroll seems contrary to our being.  Either way, the little people have earned our respect and continue to offer surprises.

I have noticed that the Untamed lands are untamed.  You are correct that this seems to be in balance with the natural order.

Lord of the Elves.
Ashgar the Bloodthirsty.

My blood, your blood, what difference does it make!

Time will tell.................

Ranger Lord, as you can see the patrol is small, weary and far from home just returning from a trip far to the north and the inhospitable lands of Darkover.
If you would be so kinds as to roll out that carpet and some drinks I would be most grateful. Have no fear for your men as we find them to be in yours as almost every kingdom but ours full of drama, now your woman on the other hand...
As for you being jealous of my simple 2 plots of land and a city by the sea, I know you must be jesting since you and your allies just vanquished two extremely powerful kings and their armies as as you put it are now "bringing those fair citizens, as well as the rest of the Untamed Lands under Rangerly influence", surely leaves you nothing to be jealous about.

Jealousy is a strange thing, and largely unfounded most of the time. Ah, the tricks of an overactive mind. Of course, they do say Stormgate is lovely at all times of the year and I've never heard that said of The Lands That Shall Be Tamed.

Enjoy the ale, and the carpet. With luck it matches the drapes.

What was there to see in Darkover? How was it? We've never been and are too concerned about the Halfling's appetite to vacation there, yet we remain curious.

Simply chasing rumors of ancient treasure said to have been lost in that bleak land. Again I apologize for the unannounced arrival on my return trip and would offer you and the druid a NAP in exchange for that hospitality.

Hopefully what you found was worth the travel, and hopefully the Halfling at least offered you a sammich while you were there. I hear they have pretty amazing bread. My favorite is the squaw.

We gleefully accept 3 turns of semi-goodness between our two kingdoms.
