As you wish on the castings, although I find myself a bit surprised, as I've always loved influence over the normal King's maximum. But to each his own, I suppose. Since you might otherwise feel short-changed, I'm fine with crediting the minimum 15,000 gold per casting rather than a higher number. So that would be 45,000 gold credit for the three previous castings.

And congratulations on the capture of the Trollish Duke! Would you be willing to ransom him to me this month? If artifacts have a minimum of 10,000 gold, perhaps we could set the price at 5,000 gold for noble prisoners, but I am open to suggestions.

I congratulate you on what I assume was a successful assassination of the former P3 wizard Cianci, as well as the theft of a weapon artifact (it may or may not be the case that yours truly was responsible for the theft of the other). We are working well together indeed, which is no surprise to me at all.

Nice of you to stop by.  As we have said before you are always welcome.  We have made a room for you that will now only be used by yourself when you are here to visit with use.  We do hope it is to your liking.  

We can only take credit for the hiring of the Underworld and that out AIDS agents are always on the lookout for artifacts.   I would love to hear that I have an artifact waiting for me.  But I am already happy to hear the Trolls moral has been broken as we finish taking the lands.  Still I must protect my assets as the UN fulfills his contract with the TR.  I do hope he does not take the loss of his agents personally.

We are will also follow your lead into battle should you choose a new course.  For now though we must finish with Torvale and also look to help with the defenses of Runnimede.  If you have the priestess available to divine reactions of Runnimede to help point us to whom we should focus on first for reaction levels, that would be very helpful.

I have made preparations in case we must have hostilities against the Giant (defensive measures only at this point), but would prefer we did not. As you are on such excellent terms with the Mighty Black Dragon, it would seem a better fit to me if we instead combine forces with him and his friend, the Giant.

I have, of course, begun actions against the Red Terror as well. Wish us luck!
Regrettably, I find myself short of funds again this month.Would it be possible to send another 15,000 gold?

Finally, I think I will ask the Gnome King if he would like to extend our NAP, seeing as you and he are so close. This may help to align our interests. What do you think?

My Drow friend,

The Gnome has come to the Northeast with an army group and now lies outside a town of mine near the Mists/Mountains border. Moreover, the Gnome and Ancient Ones have quickly forced the Troll from Torvale and it seems they are no longer contested there. I am now engaged with the Warlock, Witchlord and Gnome. (The Witchlord is now vaporizing PCs and has moved emissaries into the Mountains.) As an ally I would beseech you to cease any further talk of peace with the Gnome and get engaged. There are plenty of potential targets and opportunities.

I will gladly send you gold this month, though I would beg for you to join the fray now. Is there any chance you can place a group at Hammerhold this month? Both the Gnome and Warlock army groups are within reach while I toil in Amberland. Would $50k gold suffice for the time being? If so, place the order for 1 food.

Dear Friend,

The whining of the Dwarves is like sweet, sweet music to our ears. Perhaps he should have heeded the concerns expressed when he and the Trolls hired the Underworld against the silent Witchlord.

Regardless, as the changing tides of war sweep over the land, we are gladdened by our historic friendship. You can be assured that even as the Witchlord continues to defend himself against unjustified and unprovoked aggression, and even as the Ancient Ones and I aggressively engage the Dwarves and Trolls, our own peace and friendship will remain undisturbed.

As for your request about the Warlock, I may be able to come back to you with something helpful, which I should not disclose at this moment. I may give him one more opportunity to make good on his breach, simply because I would have appreciated the same such courtesy were the situations reversed, but in the meantime let me try something and see how things go.

I see my comments have struck a nerve. This, too, gives us satisfaction.

There is an old saying that whoever delivers the ultimatum in a relationship ends up the loser. You see, unlike you, my friendship with the Ranger is not dependent on him doing my bidding. As a case in point, we took no offense when he declined to engage the Trolls with us.

Liberation from your foul reign is coming to northern Runnimede. Watch for it.
