Did anything exciting happen?
You tried to kill a wizard and failed horribly.
It stated "THE DARKELVEN POWER-2 WIZARD RAVEN INCANTED IN A LOW FORCEFUL TONE. HE SOUGHT THROUGH HIS MAGIC TO KILL AN ENEMY FIGURE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO SO AND DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. RUMOR HAS IT HE SHAT HIMSELF."
So, not really anything exciting. If you want the full battle report email me and I'll shoot it over. You lost 1500 troops; I lost 1600. I gained morale because you retreated first (you lost morale).
In other news, I didn't get the battle report for attacking your town, but I can see that my awesomeness continues with that group.

(BL) I didn't get any of my battle reports either. But I kinda know what they say anyway. I glowered in a low forceful tone when the Underworld moved into yet another of my towns.

You don't know the half of it.
I spent the last 8 turns training an Agent up to level 12 and he died on his first assassination attempt!

Yeah, I didn't get that battle report either.

(BL) It'd be nice if the UN had some of that bad luck. Of course with a level 23 agent it's hard to miss.

Yeah, I didn't get that battle report either.
I also carry the curse of the clumsy maxed out agent. In 116 my maxed SO agent died on his 2nd mission killing a slept RA governor.
The EL in 116 had similar issues with his super spys.
My level 17 agent dying in 128 against an envoy was a hard one to swallow.

My Giant army finally took a measure of revenge on their tormentor, the Underworld. They built. Fleet of barges and rafts and took the battle to the UN capital. The heavily defended capital actually fell faily easily. The Underwold king and his court all escaped, but liberated FORTY-FOUR prisoners from his dungeons. That included the entire Giant court.
Following the battle, the excellent Underwold navy of four dreadnoughts sailed against nine fleets of barges. Surprisingly, the UN lost horribly. Three of the four UN fleets sank along with all the embarked UN troops. My Giants lost one fleet along with an entire brigade of ogres.
This would have been an outstanding turn if the Demon Prince Army Group hadn't landed on my capital at the absolute worst turn. Not only is my newly restored court in danger, but the DE will almost certainly take those prisoners from my much more comfortable dungeon. At least the UN will have lost his collection. That was my only real goal. Still......

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Well played, LD. A little surprised about the naval battle, to be honest.
(BL) Ahhhh, funding the fleet that ruined the Underworld was the one of the most satisfying things I've done in this game to date.
