It does seems some kingdoms are favored. In 2nd cycle most the time I would send in my 9-12 picks and end up with my 3rd or 4th choice. Here I ended with my 7th of 9. Not unhappy with the pick just think there is a perception of what kingdoms/zones are better

Four of the players got their first choice, so that was something since it means they didn't all go for the same kingdom. There were six different zones chosen first. One zone was chosen first by four different players. Lord Diamond

So wouldn't a "true" anonymous be one where the players also emailed you their intent to play (and you took the first 12) AND did NOT sign up via the Forum such that players didn't even know which other players were in the game?!
