Ok, let's make a deal. I was really just looking for somewhere to go and something to do.
We will both hit the pop centers our armies are sitting at for the military experience, and then just take anything that is not already owned by the other.

Sheepishly, I realize I misread the coordinates, the location is well within my reach. But I do thank you for your willingness.
I may indeed have business to transact with you, however. Having given it much consideration, I find it a point of deep conviction that a ruler must be responsible and accountable for his own actions, including his or her own diplomacy (or lack thereof). To do otherwise would be to effectively reward bad behavior and bad judgment.
For example, if a ruler were to bark like a rabid dog at everyone around him or her, spurning every reasonable approach and antagonizing everyone around, that ruler should not then be surprised or whine about propriety when those antagonized react with appropriate annoyance, and put down that rabid dog.
Toward that end, if the Rangers fail to commit this very month to leaving your village alone, then I will hire every available agent you have -- quite a few in light of the new detente between the Elves and Demon Princes, I imagine -- at the special reduced rates to early kidnap every Ranger emissary you can find.
I am only interested in early kidnaps, not only for reasons of status, but also because they allow for the possibility, however unlikely, of humble repentance on the part of the Rangers, should they wish to rejoin the civilized community.
Finally, I commend you for your understanding of your spycraft, specifically your expertise on Wards and Sleeps. You have it exactly correct.

Some disappointment, I have, I must say, but understand, we do, your decision. But some interest, I have also, in Torvale. Now sieging one town, human owned, I am. One village, to give me, also DE has said. Propose, we do, that one more town in water, our share will be, the town where before, DE beat me out. So in Torvale, two towns total, for us. For that, outbidding DE gets, and also 5 turn NAP, I will join, so no hirings, by anyone, against you, for that time. Agreed, we are?
