I will go east into Synisvania if it will relieve early tensions.

The Elf Lord has no problem with any of this.  It would be nice to hear from the GN if he is even following this?  It's a learning scenario after all  and lesson one is communicate.

Guys im looking at my setup for NO, my first time playing them. I shouldnt reveal some of this info but it does appear that i should be going for Synisvania even tho the system provides me with better regional reaction in arcania. I get a PC in both regions but i only get one fleet and it is in Sea of Drowning, nothing in Sea of Forboding . But i do want that extra city, especially since it is close to one of my starting PC. And i was just informed there is no trading in this game so my coveted 'Trick of the Trade' trait has been robbed from me. As i said in my last post, i will go for the Esteria and Synisvania if GN can live with that. I absolutely do not intend to wreck the game with an early war, that is suicide.

Gnome here, cwbrechtel@yahoo.com for the fastest contact. The mighty Gnome warriors would like to add Torvale to thier early holding and appreciate the consideration from the group. Sorry for late post, My Wife wanted family time today, go figure. It makes more sense for the SA to take Arcania I think. He still gets 3 cities and 2 regions if NO takes a City in Arcania.

I'm pretty sure I recall the past primeval game I was in there were no trades and no allies.  I don't see any rule regarding that in this one.  Does anyone else know?  I think we have three with the trick in this one?

NO you are the only one without your turn ready so as soon as you hit the button it should process.

The Gnomes are tricky, I would be happy to trade if it is allowed.

(EL) to GN   Now that the first turn has run I think it would be a problem to try to switch positions.  We all have started a plan in motion and I doubt anyone would want to swap and I'm not sure Rick would allow it.
This is a learning game.  If you need help with something just ask and we can email you outside of the forum.  There is also a wealth of information in the different forum threads.  The more time you can spend looking for tips the better off you will be.  Keep going back to the rules and commands as necessary.  I have not played the GN myself but I know OH Man has and he posted his email so you might ask him specific questions about the position.  you are on opposite corners too so not competing directly for territory.
Have fun with the small people!  You should have good agents, decent magic, so make the most of it.  I don't think anyone is going to try to roll you up in the first ten turns so have some fun and learn the game.  If you can't find the answers after looking around just ask.

I meant trade goods, I am happy with my little mean people. I was just referring to having trick of the trade.

I wanted to wait for GN to speak before tackling my turn which is not due until Tues 11pm but i will have it done before then. I had to get my turn done in my other game first as it is due 2morrow. So since GN is going for Torvale then i am hoping the SA will be okay with taking Arcania with one city so we both have 3.
