We've submitted one turn, waiting on the Mighty DuPont to either submit turn two or submit to defeat.

Yeah, I've been traveling with DuPont V and just got home yesterday. It will be submitted for tomorrow's run.

Turns 1 and 2 are in the books, and The Deliverer has the first two council seats. It's been a challenge deciding which issue to post since most of DuPont's Goldraisers seem to be, at best, very confused.
It is too early to tell if which DuPont is submitting orders, but it seems that DuPont V is getting an early start.
More to come with the next turn's results.

I enjoyed watching you waste that first issue. I was hoping that would be your opening one.

So, for the 95% of us that haven't played Titan: is getting the first two High Council seats kind of like being the first with "the bomb"?
If so, how much is spent on T1 and T2 for said seats?

The seats for turn 1 and 2 went for roughly 40k each. Apparently, my first issue was a 'waste'. I wasn't aware of that but it's nice to know now. Thanks, Victor!
Getting the first two seats, in my opinion, is a huge advantage. Figure 15k minimum for the 1 influence bump (same as order 480) plus the ability to push the first three issues through. Because of team selections, the issues weren't as cut-and-dried as they normally are (denigrate EL in 1, DW in 3, etc.) so I have to congratulate DuPont on the flexibility of his choices.
Worst case, I've overpaid by 50k for +2 influence. Hopefully my strategy will pay off, though the first issue apparently wasn't as well used as it could have been. Live and learn.

Turn 3 is in the books and I'm pretty sure DuPont is ready to give up. He said so to me privately, but he'll likely put on a brave face for the folks at home.
Regions are currently at 2-1 in favor of The Deliverer's Big Booty Bros. The Elf has picked up Oakendale (BBB), the Darkelf has picked up the Steppes (DGR), and the Gnome has picked up Runnimede (BBB).
Of particular interest is the BL's apparent interest in beating up on the Gnome, as the 1BL arrived at a GN town in Runnimede on turn 2 and, were it not for the courageous efforts of the 1GN, would likely have attacked or laid siege to the town. Fortunately, the Gnome troops were able to force a retreat from the Black as they scurried from their ambushing position with fierce abandon. Not positive, but I'm fairly certain that General Khojah won't live that one down any time soon.
The flaunting of wealth also continues unabated, as the Elf paid a handsome 42,013 for the third high council seat, securing dominance for the BBB.
DuPont's Warlock position has captured Avalon for the second turn in a row, but it seems that a lot of DuPonts emissaries decided that napping was the best option.
Also, the Giant appears to have too much free time on his hands as he was declaring just about everyone an enemy.
Interested in hearing DuPont's side of things. From my perspective it seems as if the landslide has already begun.

That's pretty good satire. I think that's what satire looks like. Maybe its irony. Or farce. Or, inconceivably, honest insight. And I do know what that last fancy word means, btw.
