Im not interested in an open diplomacy game or I would join the other one. I played in 1 and was attacked by 2 experienced players. and would rather do this format.

Rytek on diplomacy games you need to reach out to people next to you, set up NAPs and reach out to people.
I am sorry your one experience in diplomacy was poor and hope the next one is better

You will have the Cimmerian just as soon as we start taking signups for this game.
I don't like diplomacy games just because I'm not willing to regularly put in the diplomatic work. They can be a lot of fun when I am feeling social, but I have a hard time sticking to it. At least the team game is limited and I don't have to juggle relationships and keep notes on agreements.

Diplomacy games are a ton more work and sometimes it feels like whomever corresponds the most wins. I love the anon/silent variation and will not play in a full diplomacy again, team variant is fine but open diplomacy is too much time to do it right for me. It's probably beautiful for those that have the time and inclination though.

Atuan,
Im 50 years old and have been a gamer for a long time. Yup, I got ganged on. it happens. Im not complaining. Actually in the game im talking of I had an ally. I just got beat. I made a few mistakes and had some really bad rolls. But to me the community is so small and I see that both players who teamed up are in the open diplo game now and im figuring they are just going to team again. ill just avoid that and go for the no diplo game.

I will reserve the demon princes. I will also predict that this game will fill up before the full diplomacy game for the reasons that rytek, drogo, and Lord Diamond have stated

I'll take the Ranger if still available. I'm signing up for this game instead of the other because it's silent. In game 507 (full-on diplomacy), I had to deal with 4 vs 1 which was fun for a while but I want to be lazy in this game
