I don't believe any brigade has an Ultimate rating for any phase.

Looks like 2 Ultimates: War Machine for LR Missile and RD for Charge.

That's right - saw that later.  Was just giving an off-the-cuff while trying to set up four new games and get final artifact changes in place for the beta.  Anyway, the info is out there.

Also, to clarify, a 1.0 means the mean for that phase, so 1.0 for Melee Phase 1 is an attack value for a brigade of 644, and for that phase there is a standard deviation of 21%.

Let's remember what the purpose of a beta test is, although we are competitive sorts.  No Valhalla points.

So, try the new spells, explore the traits, try the new orders.  Find the new encounters.  Don't play like its 2nd Cycle and then ask why it didn't go right.  It just might be gaining control of a region by turn 4, even if doable, isn't necessarily the right approach, which will certainly vary by kingdom.

Don't forget to report here kingdom impressions, which is what we are really looking for here in the early turns.  Don't be shy, but again, try to focus on how the kingdom feels.
This isn't about a great secret plan, its about paving the way for the next decade.
