# 502 Choosing Beta 1
Trying to find avenging angel order #86. I remember seeing it but do not see it in rules suppliment
Reply

UM when I verify using the order checker it states I do not have enough gold to issue a 86 order but when I go to the divine section I have issued no order. I tried to clear this by selecting no action for that HP but it still does not help. I would not like my issued HP to fail because the priestess is already in use even though no order is shown.

As of 8:40am EST (Wed), those two 86 orders were removed from your 502 SA file but you need to tell me how the problem occurred or I won't be able to fix it. Like instead of choosing "No Action" to remove the former 86, did you select another action to replace the 86 for the priestess? I need to know if the sequence of removing an action is guilty or if you did something else.

Forgot to mention, I ran a quick test to make sure that the manual changes that I did for your 502 SA orders file was done properly and noticed that your brigades won't advance in experience for the upcoming battle because they're not being "bloodied" enough. Saw this in the admin battle log: "Unable to advance brigades due to not being bloodied (need 5+% losses in own group)." So if you're interested in getting Elite caliber troops, reduce the size of that monster group and take a licking in combat Smile

I do not think it liked me selecting population center for the last column.   I was not sure if allowed since I can not find the description of the order.   I may have switched to the military tab to verify while doing the order to check which group was going to fight.   Do not think I did anything else besides no action other than those items.

Ok fixed now. The next time that you visit the Divine page, refresh your browser to pick it up.

Added a new link called, Help Guides, on the login page for new players to click on (since I don't think anyone is actually scrolling to the bottom of the home page). It'll be easier for them to click on the Help Guides link when they login anyway. Also added maps to the help page so players will have one centralized location to find everything that they need to play the game.

The home page may undergo some changes in the next week or so as I try to auto-load the next turn and remove the turn number dropdown list since some new players may not choose the correct turn number before entering orders (which actually happened in game 502).

Will work on reducing the size of the dropdown lists after that...

Still loving the Pirates! They are very fun to play! And have gotten used to the new Order Entry system!

On this most recent turn, however, I had a Pirate patrol move via their Elite Ship. In that same sea, I had a #711 order to trade with the fleet. Unfortunately, the trade mission was cancelled because of the patrol movement on the Elite Ship. It would seem to me that one of the perks of having the Elite Ship should be so that you can move your patrol and NOT have that order interfere with your #705 or #711 order..... if not for every kingdom, then at least for those with the Seafaring Trait. If the Pirates are to be successful, then they should be able to move their Patrols with their Elite ship AND have their normal fleet to either Sea Patrol or do the #711 Trade missions.

If the Pirate can ONLY move a patrol OR sea patrol OR do a trade mission in each sea, its actually quite a disadvantage given how much of their operations are designed for naval orders and really makes the Elite ship redundant for the most part.

Just my 2 cents!

No, I agree with your position.  This is the reason for the beta, especially with the pace Mike likes to go at.  So there will be adjustments.  We will need to clarify the rules and change the code a bit so that you can use your elite ship independently from your fleets.  This is one I can definitely see would come up in the beta - thanks for reporting, Imp.
