#503 - The Choosing 2nd Beta
I did???

Wow, so I did! Had zero memory of that.

Good to know you can transfer an artifact to an inactive group. Had no idea. Thanks.

Nope. Fixed it so agents cannot cheat the system. Try it again if you like to see the message...

I'm sure it was an accident, since I couldn't remember doing it. Probably intended for it to go to my combine target, rather than the combiner.

Friday's turn for this game ran into a snag but I made a quick fix and it sent out emails around 12:30pm EST.

Question, did anyone pick up the P3 Wizard formerly at HL this past turn? Or did my defeating of it two turns ago, even though there was no room for the P3 in my group, get rid of the encounter?

What is wrong with trading an artifact to an inactive group? Wouldn't it now be active? You can port a Mage to an inactive group. If all you move all your brigades, leaders and mages out of a group the artifacts used to stay and the group would stay active.

Issue with the #711 order to consider. Because the income for this order comes so late, it doesn't help a lot of needs earlier on. I know that you want to keep it after the #245 Scrap Fleets and before Sea Movement and Build Fleet orders but could #711 get moved down to an order between #250 and #300 closer to the rest of the income orders so it can help absorb costs with Emissaries, Kings, Hiring, and Recruiting, etc. Otherwise, you have to do your money management accounting twice (all orders before #711 and then again after #711).

Just ran into my first instance where I "technically" have enough gold to accomplish all my orders with the #711 income, but because it comes so late, I had to change several orders because I didn't have sufficient gold in the early part of my turn (and didn't need it for the post #711 orders) which really puts a damper on things.

Not a huge deal but it would be a nicer convenience (and less accounting work) if doable.

That change (before Sea Patrol and Kraken) would mean Merchant Trade Missions would not be subject to interdiction, unlike all other sea movement.
I am looking at increasing Merchant Trade benefits by perhaps 50% and cutting back a bit on the extent sea patrols are covered by kingdoms with Seafaring trait.

Ah! Double accounting it is then! I certainly like the increase in Trade benefits idea!
