The Dwarven Lords of the Talking Mountains

To the rulers of the Giant, Black Dragon, Ranger, Darkelf, Warlock and Underworld kingdoms,

In one year from now one ruler shall be crowned the King of all of Alamaze and we shall all bend the knee to that one ruler. That ruler is bound to be the Gnome or Ancient Ones given the current strategic and material advantages they hold, and the absolute lack of resistance they now face in four regions.

I hold nothing but disdain for any of you who would accept this outcome, yet you've all pandered to this alliance with treaties of your own. Is that outcome acceptable to you? If it is, say no more and may history forget the inconsequential blight your race represents in Alamaze. If this outcome isn't acceptable, then now is the time to make peace with your enemies who don't currently threaten to seize the crown, end your treaties with the Gnome and Ancient Ones, and exert your own claims to the throne.

With blood and steel,

King Oban

Greetings Great King of the Trolls!

The people of our town wish to know whether to prepare a feast for your visiting officers or to prepare the defenses. We assume you are merely passing through in order to conduct your current military operations, so we have not revealed the name or location of the town.

Best of luck!

Roris Rex,
Great Imperator of the Drow

I see it took you no time to make your self at home. We have completed the remodeling. I hope it meets all expectations.

We see you noticed our EL queen was inactive before the rest of us. Nice job.

We were trying to figure out where your 4th region would likely come from but now with the departure of the Elven Queen it is very clear. Of course you should have no worries of our loyalty as you have been friend to the AN since the beginning.

King Oban,

You can hold us all in as much disdain as you wish, but it wasn't the Gnome who attacked my kingdom - it was you, King Oban. By attacking us, you threw us into the arms of your enemy, and it is *your* ancient enemy whom will likely become the ruler of Alamaze based on the writings of the most Ancient Ones. So you will have to be content with shouldering the blame for what happens on the road you steered us down. Enjoy kneeling at the feet of the High King of the Gnomes.

As for the Warlock, we shall kill all the Dwarves we can find as honor requires, and in the process regain ownership of fair Amberland before the High King is crowned. Hopefully we will have time to blow up a few towns in the Talking Mountains as well. At worst, the Red Mage will likely be offered a position as wizardly advisor to the Gnome King. We are fine with such a result. Maybe next time the world of Alamaze is engulfed in war, the Red Mage will have a better strategy. For now, we are happy to think that we will likely survive to see the crowning.

"Agent of Chaos" and you are waxing poetic about satiny TP? A true Agent of Chaos would wipe his butt with poison ivy and love it!

But poison ivy TP is only every third Tuesday.  Using it on Wednesday would just be nutty.

Greetings Great Oban!

Congratulations on retaking The Mountains.
While we always wish you the best, and you are almost certainly correct regarding the Gnome King's ascendency, we are unable to join your campaign against him. We have a NAP with his kingdom through Turn 31 and the Onyx Imperium never goes back on its word. During the bi-millennial life of a Drow, a span that crosses even generations of such long-lived races as the Dwarves, rulers come and go, nations rise and fall, but we endure. Our war with the Large Ones goes well and we look forward to a long and prosperous peace when it is finished, but regardless of the outcome, this time is  but a drop of water on a dragon's breath in our long history.

Cordially,
Roris
