The new version of Maelstrom is very cool. I like the evil trait, it adds a good amount of flavor but as the game stands I think Evil is overpowered. To fix the unbalance could a Good trait be added to the game? Something that helps good kingdoms similar to the way Evil impacts the game?

There are some advantages to being Good. You can heal your troops with a wizard heal spell, you can cast bounty, and your wizard kingdoms can cast summoning spells I-XII. It may not sound like much, but the bounty spell helps the Good a lot when you are trying to make big fortifications.

Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.

Yeah Evil is one of the most powerful traits in the game. What's it get? Well to name a few things...
-- Ability to get Undead
-- Ability to get Trolls
-- Brigade maintenence -25%
-- And no Rule of Law
-- Agent training - 1000
-- Agent training + 2 levels.
So that's a huge trait. Yes, I don't think they can cast Bounty or Heal but they also get Wraith/Nazgul/Lich and pretty good spell lists otherwise.
A good trait would be interesting but I'm not sure what would go in it.
-- 1/2 price enamoring?
-- + 1 starting Influence?
-- +2 Status quo good pops vs Evil emmies?
-- +10 Valor of good groups vs Evil ?
Not quite the same bang as Evil but I'd love to hear ideas.
Also, you could give Paladins (that evil cannot recruit) a Special Ability like innate healing to the group per Paladin brigade. And leave Knights of Styx without an ability.

The evil trait also gives a full PC production when that PC is acquired by military action. That is full production in addition to normal production for the turn.
