Unusual Sighting of Free Difficulty
#1
What kind of artifact is to be found at an unusual sighting of "free" difficulty? What tactical selection should be used?

If I had to guess, I'd think this is a wandering wizard and should be investigated with a tac selection of 1.

Thanks,

V

Bats, pegasus, portals and wandering wizards oh my

portals make no difference
the others seem to be random I would recommend a 2 and then it may tell you that you were too timid or too aggressive. so you know which way to go. Do not bring a wizard into the encounter encase it is the wizard he does not like to see other mages. also make sure you have room for a P2 wizard

Free does not guarantee success BTW.  The bats /pegasus may require a wizard, a certain ranked leader or the correct tactical choice to succeed.

They are now called 'Enigma' instead of 'Free'.

I like that the portals now give you the destination.

Can these 'enigma' encounters be located by agents and priestesses?

Would they be categorized in the benevolent description?
I am the greatest swordsman that ever lived. Say, um, can I have some of that water?

Yes to the Agents and HP. Portals can't be divined, but they can be found.; I believe it is the same for the free wizard. The Bats and Pegasai are benevolent.
