Best way to protect Wizards and Leaders from assasination

Just got a good education on what its like going to war with the Underworld kingdom (hope to repay the favor soon).
What are good strategies to protect higher level wizards and leaders from assassination?
-This Khal Drogo, it's said he has a hundred thousand men in his horde

Move over 5 squares away
Switch group numbers Nuke the PC the agent is in Stack low lvl agent on guard, ie set a trap

And also Never piss off the UN ever. That seems to work for me. I always offer him a PC in my region, and you would be amazed at how friendly the UN is after that
