Wall of Fire
#1
Quick question about this spell.

If I have 3 wizards in my group and I attack another group. So use 110.

Then I have 2 wizards cast tornado spell and 1 cast wall of fire will the tornado's still go off?

If the wall of fire works that effectively makes the other group not attack correct? So the tornado's won't go off either?

Depends on the other group. If the other group attacks on a 3 then they will run through the wall and get hit by the tornadoes.

Wall of flame is designed to work with order 120 not 110. If you cast it with 110 I think the wall blocks your own group's attack as well.

I have seen this tried in the past.

Works well with a 110 to allow you to take a PC without loosing battle you may have lost otherwise.

Hmm.. Yea I guess it would since wall is 98 order before the actual attack order of 110.

My thoughts were if you case 98 and the other group did not attack then your 110 goes off. If you cast 98 and they DO attack then your 110 doesn't work because the spell went off?

Not sure I follow. So you 98 with the wizard 110 vs the group. if they do NOT attack you then your group still attacks on a 110?

Wall of flame stops an attack between two groups unless one of them attacks at a level 3.
A group can cast WoF and attack at level one, to avoid using a 120 order or being surprised by an attack that breeches the wall of flame. Doing this will protect the group from the battle, assuming the opposing group does not attack at level 3, and still allow them to deal with a PC in the same area, typically with a 170/171.
Combat spells, like lightning, tornado, earthquake only work if the groups actually engage in combat.
