1. Cauldron of Hera - Group Artifact - Regenerates the group just like the Troll ability. This would be a major artifact that should require a Key.
2. Mystara's Shield - Character Artifact - Allows the character to cast 'Ward' once per turn. 3. Sapphire Rod - Character Artifact - Allows a character to use the AN & DE version of 'Sleep'. 4. Pendant of the Demon - Character Artifact - Gives a character the DE 'Gate' ability. 5. Veil of Stars - PC Artifact - Protects a PC by preventing any character from moving into it, but also reduces the gold production by 50%. 6. Glyph of Warding - PC Artifact - Protects a PC as with a 'Ward PC' spell. 7. Diamond Keystone - PC Artifact - Provides counter espionage over a PC while also preventing magical spying. 8. Eye of Horus - PC Artifact - Recons the particular pc each turn and is able to see Masked, ambushing, and invisible group details. 9. Gong of Warning - PC Artifact - Each turn the artifact divines all groups and their locations in the region in which it is located. 10. Finder's Stone - Normal Artifact - An artifact that can be used to Cast 'Locate Character or Group'. 11. Fiery Portal - PC Artifact - Characters located in the pc can gate out as the Demon Prince spell. This is a really major artifact and should require two keys to retrieve. 12. Crown of Snakes - King Artifact - This artifact divines the locations and controllers of all pcs in the region the king is located in. If worn by a Consul, the Consul must be located in the capital. 13. Ring of Devotion - Agent Artifact - The agent performs all actions and/or training for free. 14. Halfling's Purse - Agent Artifact - Each turn the artifact automatically adds 4,000 gold to the treasury. Lord Diamond

Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. I've been searching the site and cannot find a list of artifacts. Is there one? The ones above look cool, especially the gong of warning and diamond keystone

That's a great list, LD. Ring of Devotion should turn an Agent into a Fanatic.
Ring of Refraction - Character Artifact - Emmy and artifact appear to recons to be present at a nearby PC in addition to their actual location. Attempts to steal Ring from the mirror image returns 'not there - mission aborted' language. Banner of the Silver Stag - Group Artifact - Group bonus in forests raised to a +10% minimum. (can add other terrain variants for a family of minor artifacts - Banner of the Scorpion/Serpent/Ram for Desert/Marsh/Mountains for example) Divining Stone - Group, PC or Character Artifact - Recons its location every turn. Wheel of Time - PC Artifact - PC production is unaffected by the bad season. Mantle of Submission - Character Artifact - Assign to a Prisoner in your dungeons to make it join your kingdom. Choose new name or automatic. Kings or Regents become Prince/Princess. Rescue/escape attempts return dead prisoner language. Well of Tranquility - PC Artifact - All characters located in the PC have a 50% chance of a Sleep spell being cast on them every turn. Normal resistances still apply. |
