I think they were recommending that you post the outcome of the battle from your upcoming turn reports, not suggesting that you posted in the wrong area.

Attack on a 1 and pursue the DW.

Your archery is superior and they get a penalty in the swamp. He can't outrun you from that location and the pursue will hit him with additional attrition. He will be back in a bad spot again next turn with you hitting him again on 1 and him wondering if you will pursue again.

If you have a p-2 cast a slay spell.
