People bitching even back then about wizards getting assassinated!

Jesus H Christ,

things have changed....the game has gotten better, way better, and we have gotten WAY older.

You young folks are funny.  I just had my 50th class reunion last year.  The sad thing is so many are no longer here and we lost several more this year.   Yes sir, I remember when Moby Dick was just a minnow, men were men, and sheep were scared.  I play Ancients for a reason!
Merry Christmas friends.

The cover of the Dragon Magazine that the Alamaze article was in was done by 2 artists. TSR at the time would occasionally hire freelance artists for Dragon (Dungeon also) and they would see art at Gen Con and other places. The art was only partially done and the artist was paid for the art and had to finish it up but didn't have the time so he had another artist help him. The painting is nearly life sized, Dwarf entering a dungeon. It's really cool, nostalgic.

Men were real men, women were real women, and little green things from Alpha Centauri were real little green things from Alpha Centauri.

I recall playing a game about green things from outer space.  You had to fight them for control of the space ship.
